Our Firm Overview
In January 2017, James L. Kent, CPA, PC purchased the clients of Scott A. Dewey, CPA, PA. Then, in December 2024, we moved to fully remote to better serve our clients. The firm continues to serve clients all over the country. The mission of the firm is to provide a hassle-free experience at a competitive price. We are not looking to serve clients just one time, we want to develop long lasting relationships that will continue for generations.
Our friendly staff is dedicated to defining the client's needs and meeting expectations. Helping our client's build their own businesses instills a great pride in us and a sense of accomplishment. We are here to make sure that our clients understand their finances and to assist with working together through the personal and business complexities.

Jim has been providing accounting services for over 17 years. He is currently licensed as a CPA in both NY and NC. He is dedicated to providing an enjoyable experience for each of his clients.
